Backorder Policy

Our systems control back orders and keep them to a minimum. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal.  If an item you purchased is backordered, we will contact you with this information.  If a product is unable to be manufactured due to some unforeseen circumstance you will be notified.  At this time you will be offered the following options:

• Choose a product that is in stock and can be shipped now
• Wait until the item ordered can be made and is in stock and have it ship as a back order
• Receive store credit for another purchase
• Receive a refund of the purchase price

Damaged Goods Policy

Issues regarding products damaged during shipping need to be dealt with through the carrier.  
You must notify horsebackridingvests.com within 24 hours of receipt of damaged parts.

Please contact UPS, FedEx, or USPS and file a claim using the package tracking number. All claims must be filed with the carrier that delivered the package to you.

Products defective from the manufacturer need to be returned following the return policy.  Your options at this time are:

• Have the same product delivered to you
• Receive store credit for another purchase
• Receive a refund for the purchase price

Returns will not be accepted on:

• Special orders
• CO2 cartridges
• Wetted evaporative vests
• Additional external body protector panel covers
• Used and/or worn items
• Items with tags removed or otherwise defaced

Please inspect your arrival.  If damage is done through shipment, please address this with the shipping company.  Try on your order immediately upon receipt.  Check the container for small parts.  Save the original packaging if a return is necessary.  If you are not satisfied with your unworn product for any reason you may return it for a full item refund or exchange it for a different item within 30 days of delivery.  Please request a return for a return authorization number and to suggest your resolution.  Instructions for returns and a ship to address will be given to you along with an authorization.  Return shipping fees are the customer’s responsibility. 

Warning

Protective riding vests may offer some protection from impacts suffered as a consequence of falling from horses.  Injuries may be reduced in severity but there is no guarantee.  Protective horseback riding vests do not offer any substantial spinal protection or prevent injuries involving torsion , flexing, extension or crushing of the body.

You understand and agree that the owners of this site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data or other intangible losses (even if the owners of this site have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or any misuse of the product(s) and or service(s) in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.
